About "Nooks" of the World

I've done alot of traveling in my life. There are always those places that we have wanted to see and experience. The 1st time we see them is great but after we've seen the popular landmarks and the tourist destinations, there are those little places off of the beaten path that stick out in our memories and stay with us. It's that little street you happened upon in Paris or that quiet little park in Tokyo you found when you took a wrong turn or just a building that was pretty cool.
This group is a celebration of these little "nooks" in our world! Any little place you've found off of the beaten path, please feel free to post your photos and tell us about them.
