About Flora & Lettera

This group is for calligraphy and handwriting in a broad spectra. It is mainly for fine classical calligraphy, but also for plane handwriting in many forms.

The artistic form is importent here. But also \'ordenary fine handwriting\' is also interesting. So this page is mainly "for the handmade". Exampels of typographic design and alike is welcomed if it contains "the handmade" aspect.

The photos need not be pictures where you show your own handwriting. It can be photos of other artist works aswell! In any case I would like to see \'good quality in reproduction\' of the art that will be shown here. So watch out for using flash straight on to the objekt/surface - there might be disturbing reflections!...

I will get back with more precise information on how I will have the group to work. The Group starts today, November 8, Anno Domini 2005.

I am an amateur calligrapher myself. I have been a member in Flicker for just like three weeks, today. And I think this is just f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c !

I'am going to go "PRO" soon and build my Photostream much larger, with more Sets and so on! One or more Sets in my own Photostream will be for calligraphy and writing.

My pseudonym is "maurice_flower"! Im thinking of "stepping out of the closet" later on and present myself under my full real name, and so on.

For now I will not show any Photos of calligraphic art, because I have not yet anything photographed or scanned.
