Peoples of India is an ethnographic research project attempting to photographically portray between 300-500 communities, people groups, tribes, and castes of India.
New threads will be regularly started requesting images on specific peoples of India.
This group will be of particular interest to photographers living within India and those who visit the country. Others would be those with an interest in the peoples of India and / or ethnographic research.
Please tag any submisisons to the group pool with the following:

- [name of community, people group, tribe, caste]
- [your name]
I'm sorry, but photos without a tag naming the community, people group, tribe, or caste will most likely be deleted, since this is a serious research project.
Photos may be candids, informal portraits, street portraits, street shots, formal portraits, social documentary, etc.
