About judge a cover by its book
This group is devoted to images that would serve well as book covers or jackets.
That said, you are in no way required to add text to your image (although you are welcome to, if you wish); this group's goal is more about evoking a literary feeling through the visual. Of course,if your bookishness impels you toward textual imposition without superimposition, do feel free to add tags or captions that include possible titles, or that simply point out how well suited your image would be to a book jacket.
As a further note, it's not hard to see that this whole idea is pretty damn subjective, so...have at it! I already impose my iron will on one group (one I love dearly--if you're a Moz / Smiths fan and don't mind editorial persnicketiness, check out plagiarise or take on loan); with this one, I'm prepared to live and let live--within reason, anyhow. Behold my liberal use of semicolons as proof of my laissez-faire administrative attitude!
So: prospective authors and publishers on the prowl, this is your playground! Thanks to my moderator, Zach, for the group idea--and enjoy.
