About 40 YEARS OR OLDER: PHOTOS AND ART OF JAPAN

Seeking members who are artists, photographers or collectors of japanese art or photos taken or created at least 40 years ago. Seeking momentos from men and women who were in Japan before 1970 and have photos and items from Japan they would care to share. You are cordially invited to become members. People of any nation in any capacity: military, medical, education, diplomatic corps, corporate, ex-pats, etc, all welcome to add a few favorite images. You are cordially invited to become members. All items must be orignal and include some identifying information. Other than the pure joy seeing images of this genre will provide to me and others, it is, in a minor way, a historical research project in that it will publicize what foreigners to Japan have found notable enough to send or take home upon departure from the land of the rising sun. I will begin by posting a few of my photos, items and brochures that I brought home with me when I departed Japan in the 60s.Invitations will be sent to those who might have items of interest posted. Or do not wait for an invitation, simply join and enjoy the membership. Who knows, if there is enough interest, we might charter a trip to Japan sometime in the future. Talk about fun and photographing. Wow. No limit to number of items as long as age and originality requirements are followed. Thanks, rob
