About NOLS LFB 7/22/07 - 2On 7/22/07, nine people came together to partake in the National Outdoor Leadership Schools (NOLS) light and fast backpacking course. For twelve days, these folks backpacked with 27 pounds or less through the Absoroka mountains of Wyoming. We experienced a lot of rain and grizzly bear sign almost every day. Folks really enjoyed the lightweight philosophy of travel and we were able to cover 78 miles over the twelve days, seeing a lot of amazing terrain. |
