04 Sep 10 - Haven't checked this group for awhile, but looks like I need to clean it up a bit.

I deleted photos that either:- don't have a description- don't contain the EXIF data- or don't introduce a special technique that others can learn from. So each shot should have a description and some information about the shot. What were you going for, what was the light source, what were some of the difficulties, etc... Please read the group description and rules again for more info.

Thanks,

Ben

About Serious beginners-Tips and Techniques resource

This group is for the serious beginning digital photographer who wants to learn from others. You MUST post EXIF data and as much information on how you took the picture in the description. Only post photos that were taken with thought behind them. The idea is to share your photographic experiences, experiments, attempts, and even failures, so that others can learn from them.

All photos welcome. No porn or anything too offensive. Use your best judgment. Public group, so no full nudity. Partial or implied nudity okay. (Must be tasteful or artistic)

RULES

1.) EXIF data must be present. If not, put it in your description.

2.) You MUST give as much helpful information about how you took the picture in the description. Especially if lighting, flash, or reflectors were used.

3.) Only post photos were you applied a technique that you think others could learn from.

Any photos that don’t have the above requirements, will be removed immediately.

The purpose of this group is to help others learn from your photographs, not just show off your best shots. And because this is a group for beginners, any cheap tricks, home made alternatives, etc, are very welcome! Post processing is also welcome, as long as you give a basic description of what you did.

I hope we can all learn from each other and that this group will become an on-going resource of useful photographic techniques and skills. Also anybody (pro, semi-pro) wanting to share their photographic techniques, are also welcome.
