A Continuing Contest
- Organised on a regular basis since 1923, it is the biggest sporting challenge for car manufacturers because it is based on “being the best over 24 hours.”
An organisation with a reputation and credibility for:
- The rigour of the conception, adherence to and application of the regulations
- The involvement of over 1600 voluntary officials (marshals, medical personnel, operational staff, etc.) motivated by enthusiasm and efficiency
- A recognised ability to welcome spectators
- A sporting infrastructure that caters for all (media, competitors, spectators and sponsors).
