About East in the West We're looking for soviet-style structures and settings that were photographed in western countries. These are the buildings that you look and and say to yourself "that belongs in a soviet city". For us, there are no rules as to what constitutes a "soviet" structure or setting, it's just a feeling that Lenin would have been proud to see it in one of his cities. Think communist utopia.
