1) in a liturgical view, green is for the season in the church known as "ordinary time" or "karaniwang panahon." for some people, the green wearing image represents good luck in business or financially but i DO NOT like that kind of mentality.
2) the red vestments are worn during the celebrations of pentecost, palm sunday, good friday, holy cross. for some, red is also a recognizable color to symbolize christ the king.
3) the left hand holds an orb or small golden globe to symbolize the world. it represents that "we are in the hands of santo nino" and that we belong to jesus christ. in the right, a royal schepter to symbolize that this child is a king who rules the world.
4) the image with the bag makes him a wanderer or a pilgrim, traveling christ child.
5) in cebu and tondo, the third sunday of january
in iloilo the following week i think
6) biggest fiesta??? my observation would be cebu.
