16 Feb 10 - Welcome to 3D Tips, Tricks and Rigs. This is a group for discussion on anything to do with the production, manipulation and viewing of 3D images. And for sharing (and showing off) your rigs for producing or viewing 3D images.

All types of 3D photography are OK including ones that can't be adequately shown through digital medium (but please give a description) providing that they produce 3D images.

About 3D Tips, Tricks and Rigs

This is a group for discussion on 3D photography. It is for experienced 3D photographers to give tips and tricks, for those new to 3D photography to ask questions, and for everyone to show off their 3D rigs.

All forms of 3D photography that produce a 3D image are acceptable (e.g. Stereoscopy, holographs) using any production (with cameras or software) and any viewing method (even those that can't be viewed digitally). But techniques that result in 2D images are off topic (e.g. 3D rendering engines that result in 2D images) but it is OK to describe such techniques that produce 3D images.

Images of rigs, used for viewing or capturing images, are OK (even if they're in 2D), as are examples and illustrations of techniques.

Please do not include images that might offend and keep examples to a minimum so as not to overload the pool.
