About Late Breaking News
This group is open to all people.
The focus of this group is to post photos of events happening in real time. Emergencies, national crisis, things that might make the news, etc.
Sometimes us private citizens are quicker to a scene than the news or paparazzi.
Several photographers on Flickr have been contacted from news orginazations and have been asked to use their photos for their publications, reports, etc.
Examples of Breaking News photos you should:
1. wild bear roaming through your neighborhood.
2. earthquake damage
3. political figures
4. whale being rescued at the beach
5. terrorist attack (god forbid)
6. wildfire near you
Prefer not to see dead bodies or guts.
Make sure you express your copyright and usage of your photos so those organizations viewing them don't steal them.
