About MATCH GAME
Did you ever see someone’s photo on flickr, and have to take a double-take. You say to yourself, “Hey, I have a photo just like that!” Then after a closer look you see that they have just taken a photo of the same subject or one that is so close it could be your photos twin.
This has happened to me several times, so I decided to start a group called ‘Match Game” This is how it works: You post your original photo in the groups pool, then you start a thread with a number, Match Game #1, Match Game #2, etc. in sequence with the previous post.
This is not a group for COPYCATS or for people to steal other peoples work and call it their own. This is a way to compliment someone for taking a photo just like yours. It may not be identical but alike enough to be your photo’s stunt double.
Here is how it works:
1.Post the original in the Group Pool. (Only your originals should be posted in the group pool)
2.Start a Thread on the discussion board that is titled Match Game #1, #2, #3, etc.
3.Post the Look alike under yours, with the link to the person who took the photo.
4.Comment on the other person’s photo you post say something like “ I saw your photo and had to take a double take, it is so much like mine I posted it one “Match Game”
5.Place a tag on your photo and theirs “Matchgame”
6.All Photos should have properties, if they do not tell us why in your description.
7.You may also post additional photos of others peoples photos in a : Match Game the photo may have many Matches!
Here is a list of DO NOTS
Do not copy someone photo and change a color, size or like to just to post it here.
Do not post two of your own photos that are alike, taken on different days ofr a different perspective.
Do not post any nude, or partially nude or anything that is offensive it will be removed.
Let’s just have fun!
