About Intimate Landscapes
This is a group for landscapes in the small view - the intimate landscape at your feet.
The scale is variable, ranging from a fraction of a metre across to tens of metres. It's not about macro images & flower close-ups and equally it is not about vistas either. What makes these images intimate is that small scale and it is defined by NO HORIZON.
Let us see the textures, colours, forms, patterns, shapes and abstractions that fall in the 'medium ground' around us. Images do not have to be abstract but they must be confined within the space from our feet to the horizon - whether on land or water.
The only rules are as follows:
1. Max 3 per person per day please
2. No horizons
3. No sky - landscape between your feet and the horizon
4. Natural not man-made or urban
5. No people, buildings, cars, or easily identifiable man-made objects - its about the details of the natural landscape...
