About Peephole fish eye

Take the peep hole off your front door and get creative. This is a compilation of peep hole only shots. No pro lenses. This technique work the best with "point and shoot" digital cameras (due to the smaller size of the optical lens). I use a Canon SD110.

This is how it works:

-Remove peephole.
-Hold peephole against rim of camera lens.
-Set camera to "macro". (the image is actually displayed on the inside face of the convex lens of the peephole. The camera must focus on the foreground image rather than the background image.)
-Zoom in to the point that the viewable "circle" is framed almost evenly.
-For best results, brighter lighting will avoid unwanted noise (grain)
-Enjoy and have fun.

On some images, I crop out the circle and fill the background black for a cleaner picture.
