Basically, the group was started to get Flickr's most colourful art and imagery together in one place!! Colours make the admins and the moderators happy, and I'm sure colours make everyone else happy too (for the most part that we know of anyway) =)

We stress on letting the members of this pool (owners of colourful imagery) know that they've done a great job... how do we do this? By giving them awards from this group! The more awards they will have, the merrier they will be (and not to mention the admins and moderators of this group and everyone else on Flickr who visits their shots)

Interestingly enough, that also goes to say the following:
Like 99.98% of the groups out there on Flickr, the owners of this pool are rather nice people! They believe in fairness, equality, treating all fellow photographers right, and last but definitely not the least, lots and lots of colours!! So please be kind to the moderators and admins, and do not misuse the niceness they bring for you =)

So while you're out there cruising around on Flickr, whether that is on the explore page, the interestingness archive, your contacts' streams, or other pools.. and you come across a lot of colours, please do let them know that they are great photographers. Furthermore, please invite them and their shots to the pool on behalf of all of us here! We would greatly appreciate it.. no, really.. we'd love it!!

RULES
* For every shot you post, please give an award to at least THREE (or more) of your favourite shots in the pool!

* The pool allows posting of no more than 1 image per day!

* NO NUDES OR PORN, PLEASE!! This is a family pool - let's keep it that way! If the admins find any sort of nudes whatsoever, they will delete them without notice!

* Once you are a part of the pool, you may add more of your images provided that they meet the main group requirement. WE WANT TO SEE GOOD-QUALITY COLOURS, PEOPLE!! Lots and lots of colours!
...which goes to say that the admins and moderators of this pool reserve all rights to remove images (without notice) that they think does not reflect the pool fully...

* Please use the invite code and leave it for non-members to join us. Please use your judgement, and ensure that the image you invite displays colours and/or art (creativity)
By that we mean the following:
- images that are very colourful overall
- images that focus on one or two colors only and are strong and vibrant
- black and white images with selective colouring
- monochrome images with selective colouring
- monochrome images that are strong/vivid
- colour creative
- heavily Photoshopped (or edited with the use of other imaging software) but contain colourful imagery
- images that have one colour overpowering the rest of the shot (don't have to be bw, monochrome or sepia)
PLEASE POST YOUR ORIGINAL WORK ONLY! IF WE FIND THAT THE WORK YOU HAVE POSTED HAS BEEN RIPPED OFF ANOTHER SOURCE, WE WILL REMOVE IT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE!!

* If you're looking for extra awards, reposting is allowed! However, please make sure that you remove your photo to repost ONLY if it has made it to page 5 or beyond!
You are only allowed to repost an image ONCE! If a 2nd repost shows up, it will be deleted!

* Once your image(s) receive 5 or more awards, you may post it in our ART LEGACY queue to be given an invite to join and/or post at our extension group – Photographic Art Legacy

* Cronyism is NOT permitted! If we find the same people awarding ALL your images in this pool (whether your friends are doing it for you or you are doing it yourself from your fake accounts), WE WILL BAN YOU!

* MEMBERS WHO BLOCK ADMINS AND MODERATORS OF THIS GROUP WILL BE BANNED!!

* Please tag image with 'ColourArtAward'
