Long Island has a surprising amount of abandoned structures, conspiracy fodder and weird history. Settled both from the west (NYC) and across the water from new england, situated now as increasingly rural from west to east, filled with both mass-suburbs and small towns, settled almost as early as the oldest spots in new england, and filled with the chaos that ensues from finite proximity to a major urban center, there is much to uncover here. This group is a place for photos trying to do just that.
