About 36 Prints
Go out for the day with your digital camera and pretend you are shooting with film.
Depending on what your camera allows, try any or all of these constraints:
- Set your ISO depending on the light conditions you plan on
- turn off the instant image preview on your camera (most digital cameras have the ability to turn off image preview, if yours doesn't, cover the preview screen with a post-it note)
- set the image type to JPEG (not RAW)
Now, go out to take 36 pictures and only 36 pictures -- you can maybe get away with 37 or 38, but any more and you are totally cheating. Make sure to keep yourself honest and take note of how many exposures you have left on your card when you start and then stop when you're 36 pictures closer to 0! Next upload all of your pictures, UNEDITED, to this group. As an added bonus, try to upload to flickr without looking at the pictures you just took (Mac users, try automatorworld.com/archives/upload-to-flickr/)
