About Brick by Brick

Updated: March 6, 2010.
Thank-you for joining and enjoying this group.
From the early 1800's and continuing today building by brick has enhanced the look of our urban environment both aesthetically and for fire protection.
There was a time in the 1940's to 1960's that alot of brick buildings were covered with plaster or other materials for a variety of reasons.
We have come out of those dark ages and now celebrate the beauty of brick in our cities and towns.
This group is for all those who wish to share their favourite photographs of all things made of brick - from old houses and commercial buildings to anything that incorporates the use of brick.
Welcome!
