This is it! 365th consecutive shot, beginning last year on 12 August. My 364th was more of a goodbye than this one, but we didn't have Guys & Dolls rehearsal yesterday. I have a Day 366 addendum coming tomorrow (+1), so I can end on the date I started. Then I shall step down.
Congratulations Mav and Aelita! The year is up!
A HUGE thanks to Chris Maverick for starting this group. It's been quite a ride, and a fabulous learning experience!

i finished my project on another site because of the censorship drama.
will have to make my last shot today and me toom didnt miss a shot, but made some mistakes with the counting,. guess i already finished yesterday, and i thought it was today (monday ) :-)
so what , one more or less. it was a real tuff journey, i learned a lot.
thanks to everyone i made friends with here, everyone that commented, inspired me and just took time to check my pics. i have unfortunately set all of them private when i was angry about flickr...

this has been an interesting journey of self discovery, self hate, and ultimately self love. who knew i'd get used to seeing my face.
there are so many interesting people I've gotten to view their creativity and the people that just revealed themselves, slice of life, i found that equally wonderful.

This has been one of the hardest, coolest, most fulfilling things I've ever done. Thank you to everyone who made it possible, and to all the wonderful people who have befriended me along the way :)

Well my official finish for the group. That's 365 consecutive shots in this group, and my 600th consecutive photo. When I finished my first 365 shots, I felt like I should continue, finish out the group, get my 365 shots in here. So I did. Thanks to everyone who urged me to continue along the way. But this time I'm out. I'll find other ways to amuse myself in my flickr stream I'm sure, but it won't be with pics of myself...

Well, I finally made it to Day 365:
Well. 365 Days is complete. For now anyway. I have had a great time trying to get these pictures posted. It has been easy trying to get ideas. It has been a real challenge. There were many days I just wanted to take a picture to get it posted. There were days I didn't want to. But, in the end, I got it done, and it feels good.
I shall continue to be a member of the group. Who knows, in a few months I may try to do it again. In the meantime, I'll take a break from these daily posting. I may join the 52 Weeks group or maybe even the Project 365 group. Either way, I won't leave Flickr. It's been to much fun.
To those who finished before me, Congratulations. To those who are about to finish, Congratulations. To those just starting or somewhere between 1 and 360, Hang in There and DON'T GIVE UP. I look forward to seeing more of your pictures.

Even though the daily self-portraits have come to an end for some of us, the friendship will not. My kids have been bugging me for about 364 days now.
Everyday it’s been:
“Dad, I have an idea. Why don’t you take a picture with me for your picture of the day?”
I promised them they could be in my “last” shot.
I thank all who have commented over the year.
It’s been greatly appreciated.

Well, I did it. It has been quite a year.
Highlights include:
Paying off my 2006 tax bill (all $6500 of it!)
Building closer relationships with friends
LOADS of personal growth
Several knitted objects
More than once thinking I was going to loose my mind
Lots of swing dancing
Lots of dancing with myself with my new iPod
Some roller skating
A semester of Italian (most of which I have forgotten...) in preparation for possible trip (see next item)
Plenty of contemplation regarding whether or not I was ready to make a go of it and travel the world (not yet)
Approximately 5 jobs, all but one I'm still involved in on some level or another - one of which is the job of my dreams (it's only 2 hours a week right now, though!)
1 Flickrmeet (with synecdoche)
1 romance that included
2 adventurous sailboat journeys,
1 sunburn and
Plenty of kisses and hugs :0)
Learning to draw
25 pounds lost
1 smile found
The joy of giving learned
