I agree that the first could be a camera wrongly set - she has several photos in her photostream with dates close to that one. However, the next photo in the group pool

I wouldn't bet that two photos taken on the same date are from the same day. You could take a self-portrait coming home late after a party, and one the following breakfast. They'd be hours apart on the same date, but from different days (or at least that's how people would think of them)

That might be the case but one would have to be a bit lenient there. Also one might have more than one camera set differently - I put the wrong YEAR on one of mine :)

Ten floaters in one day - from different people - is unusually high but I usually delete several every day. I have a range of standard messages for them … in several languages!

Why was mine removed when I'm in it? Georgie R I sent you a message but not sure if I'm supposed to do that or reply on here? I've been very careful about making sure I'm in the photos for this project :)
my photo is www.flickr.com/photos/lplater/6713418329/in/pool-79112418... My foot and my clothes clad leg and part of body are clearly seen in the bottom half of the image and it was taken on a consecutive day

"clearly seen" is a bit strong, considering they're out of focus and it's impossible to tell what's there. It's my personal opinion that a photo where the subject is clearly not you but has a blur that may or may not be a part of your body isn't a "self-portrait" in any sense, but that's not an official statement of group policy.

I also said in my reply to Dreams of Whimsy by Flickr mail that, "If there is any chance in the future that you might be missed in a picture do just add a comment or note. "
There are some pretty obscure self-portraits in the group pool :(
