About 365 Creative Conundrum

The 365 Creative Conundrum photo group is an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, practice new techniques and significantly accelerate the photography learning curve for both the beginners and exeprienced shooters. We are a group of people who want (or try to) take a photo everyday for 365 days. No matter if you can't take everyday a "good photo", you have only to show what you see during one year.

Taking a photo a day is a big undertaking with big payoffs. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider doing it:

•Imagine being able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, who you met, what you learned… (Often we find it hard to remember what we did just yesterday or even last night, let alone a whole year ago)

•Your year-long photo album will be an amazing way to document your travels and accomplishments, your haircuts and relationships. Time moves surprisingly fast.

•Taking a photo a day will make you a better photographer. Using your camera every day will help you learn its limits. You will get better at composing your shots, you’ll start to care about lighting, and you’ll become more creative with your photography when you’re forced to come up with something new every single day.

There is a strong “learning” culture within the group and members are encouraged to share their knowledge and opinions. When posting your photos to the group you are encouraged to title your photo and include a small description of the photo if you choose. Also please include any special lighting conditions present for the shot as well as any post processing notes. This group is not just for sharing your pictures but also to enjoy the submissions made by the other members. Leave a comment (however small) or better still provide some critique or suggestions for improvements. We believe that whether you are a professional, serious amateur or just a beginner, your opinion counts and it is just as important as anyone else’s. We believe that giving as well as receiving critique is an excellent learning process and is highly encouraged. However, please be mindful of members feelings when giving critique – it’s supposed to be a learning process – not a fault finding process. Constructive criticism is a must. We ask that all members abide by commonsense rules of decency and respect when interacting with fellow members

We understand that life happens and that you might miss posting photos for extended periods of time due to illness, holiday, etc. All we ask is to keep shooting and post when you can.
