About M32 Divide
I live right by the M32 in Bristol and I have grown weirdly attached to it. I was inspired to start my own group on the M32 by I y e r s who has dedicated a group to the Purdown Telecommunications Mast. This mast looks over the M32 as if it is it's guardian.
So, you could say this group could partner the Purdown Mast Group.
I also found it interesting that Bristol lost out to Liverpool for the chance to represent Britain in the European City of Culture 2008 competition because of the M32. Judges said that it divided communities in Bristol and I suppose they are right. But without the 4 miles of motorway Bristol would be even more gridlocked.
I love and loathe the M32 simultaneously, and it makes interesting photography.
