Don’t forget to take photos outside the grounds as well, the historic value of those photos is just as important as anything taken inside the stadiums, more so in some ways as that’s all changing so fast with more new Stadiums being built changing the way the fans experience their match days
And it’s all changing too. The more new stadiums are built and the ‘corporate crowd’ get more & more involved as well as being more important to clubs, they will start to ‘tidy’ up the surrounding areas…taking the game further from the average fan, its been going on for quite awhile now, and for clubs who want to increase their turnover its going to be more important to them to have an overall product identity image, which a scruffy looking stand selling possible cheaper club merchandize in direct competition to the clubs own superstore isn’t going to go down very well.
So next time you go to watch your team, snap away around the ground, show the outsides of the stands, the way the fans dress, the burger vans, the programme sellers, the way the stadium fits into the local area etc, etc
