You've asked for personal, global fab email accounts and webpages, so I thought we'd try out Google's convenient service where we can grow as needed. This page will get populated with more information over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

What is FabFolk?

You may have heard of the Fab Lab program, which reaches out into communities around the world and makes technology and the sciences surrounding it accessible to more people.

FabFolk is a virtual community that eases the flow of communication between people all over the world who have ideas and are interested in contributing toward the goals which Fab Lab is working toward.

Here you will find a meeting place for ideas, an organization center for lifting projects off the ground, and generally a place for exploring problems and discovering solutions that are technology oriented.

We need your help! If you are technology-minded and have ideas about new projects, are thinking of ways you can contribute in a technical way to improve on current projects, you'd like to explore possibilities of getting involved in an outreach project, this place is for you! If you are interested in bringing some of the framework which FabFolk is building to your high school or neighborhood, that is great too!
