Ottawa Flickr Meet - August 26, 2006

Use this thread to show off your photos from the 1st Ottawa Flickr Meet. A group of us met at the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill, Saturday, August 26th, at 4 PM. We hiked around Parliament and into the Market, taking photos as we went. It was fun!

one thing - please tag all your photos from the meet with ofm-aug2006 - that way we can find all of everybody's photos whether they're posted here or not.

	ms oddgers says: Hey guys, I tried but failed to meetup with y'all. Realised once I was there that I didn't know what any of you looked like, and everybody at the flame was pointing a camera. I was the one on the bicycle with the widdle doggie. Here's the picture to prove it: I was only there a short while, and Edith was getting sick of all the attention (and I had to use the loo) so we split. Glad ya'll had fun. Posted 70 months ago. 	dragfyre says: yeah, we all realized once we got there that there was a tour group starting with everybody pointing cameras and that it was going to be impossible to tell who was there from flickr... we just tried to look as conspicuous as possible. next time we'll bring big pink and blue dots and fd's flickr badges to identify us. ...or maybe some of these. I haven't done a photo shoot like that since I was a kid with my buddies out west... it was fun to get together and do it and fun to view all the results. Fascinating in the "sameness" and in the "differences"! Let's do it again... and anyone from out of town who might be able to make it to Ottawa would be welcome to join us! As a matter of fact...
