About Seibu Railways of Tokyo and Saitama (西武線), Japan.
This group is for any pictures of the Seibu Railways (西武線) including shots of life in the communities along the line. The Seibu trains run from Ikebukuro and Shinjuku in Tokyo out to various destinations in Saitama Prefecture (埼玉県) including Chichibu and Kawagoe, as well as the Seibu Lions Baseball Park. From 14th June 2008 trains on the Ikebukuro line can reach Shinjuku and Shibuya using the new Fukutoshin Line (副都心線) in addition to the existing subway connection to Ginza-1-chome and Shin Kiba on the Yurakucho line. Any shots of life in the stations and streets, fields and mountains near to the line, and of (or inside) the famous yellow, silver, white or red trains are welcome in this group.
