About Canyons of the World

This group is for good quality photos of canyon areas - landscape / geology, plants, animals, sky, human history... Poor quality photos, photos that don't emphasize the canyon area (e.g. a photo of you and/or your partner), or repetitive photos should not be added to this group. Please be selective when adding photos to this group and don't use this as a dump for all your canyon photos unless they meet the stated criteria.

Add photos from all types of canyons to this group - from the large canyons like Copper Canyon in Mexico, Grand Canyon in Arizona, Fish River Canyon in Namibia and the Yarlung Tsangpo Canyon in China / Tibet, to the narrow slot canyons like Antelope Canyon in Arizona and Spooky Gulch in Utah. If possible, specifically identify the location of the photo so others can better appreciate your image.

Note: Do not add photos of Bryce Canyon National Park to this group because it's not actually a canyon. Also, please don't post photos of The Wave or Monument Valley. This group is for canyons, not escarpments, buttes/monoliths, mountains...
