05 Apr 07 - Canon has given us a wonderful tool that can be used to shoot amazing 3D images. This site favors broad spectrum color anaglyphs that are tightly overlaid, and processed to look good in 2D without glasses up to the
size of a normal postcard. When displayed bigger, they require the special red-cyan glasses to see the 3D effect,
and to integrate the slightly "misaligned" two layer images. Recently, higher perfomance glasses have extended
the performance envelope of color anaglyphs.

About CANON SLR ANAGLYPHS ONLY

The group is intended to show still photos and continuous burst
loops and sequences possible with late model Canon DSLR cameras, used either as a move-over 3D still shot, with one camera or using a dual rig, 2 cameras with a sync device. such as "Lanc Shepherd." In many case both a good Anaglyph/Anachrome or a cross-view pair can be made from the same shot pair ,or ongoing sequence. The fast response of Canon SLRs allow even good shots without a sync device, just pushing the two buttons at once, on a hit or miss basis! A new 25mm Loreo lens will permit synchronous 3D with a single camera. The raw pictures are parallel
format, but it is easy to convert to side by side cross-view, and from that point to anaglyph
or superior color Anachrome, using diopter corrected RGB filtration.
