About Graffiti History (Graffiti 1999 & before only, pls!)

Graffiti from the 90's, 80's 70's as well as much earlier. It can be fancy, plain, even barely readable - the point is, it's old, and there's probably a story behind it.

Please include history about the piece or artist if you can, but don't include too much info on recent pieces, for obvious reasons.

Two group guidelines:

1.Please do not submit pieces newer than 1999, they will be removed by the administrators.

2. This is not a group specifically for Graffiti Archeology, although you are welcome to submit photos of graffiti over time (as long as the pieces were all done before 1999.) There is another great group devoted specifically to Graffiti Archeology: www.flickr.com/groups/grafarc/
