A group to discuss, pool and comment on that slice of Street Photography typically referred to as Street Portraiture.



Pooled photos should typically involve subjects aware of the photographer, either making eye contact with the lens or rendered in a manner which bears certain typical hallmarks of a portrait.

Pooled photos should present the subject in the context of the street, so to speak.

Pooled photos should not be staged or apparently candid shots of friends or family, or set up shots using commissioned models.

Judicious filtering of pool submissions may well take place in order to ensure a good mix of inspirational or simply thought provoking work might be maintained but you can expect fair and friendly stewardship.

Members are actively encouraged to initiate and engage in discussion threads, raising and answering questions about their work, the work of other members and that of wider sources of inspiration.
