We primarily want to emphasize and showcase the natural beauty that's
right here in this county. We also want interesting outdoor
activities and Benzie County critters -- wild or domestic.
Therefore, please DO send us:
* Your cool, scenic, sun, water, trees, dunes, etc. photos.
* Photos taken in or very close to Benzie County (Empire, Lake Ann,
Nessen City, Copemish, Bear Lake, and Pierport areas or closer).
* Your Benzie County critters, dead or alive! That awesome fish you
just pulled out of a river or lake, the cute little tweety birds
bouncing around the yard or the 12 point buck you bagged. Animals are
always welcome.
* Your favorite pooch or killer cat...as long as they are within the
Benzie boundaries.
* If you have a shot of someone doing something fun or interesting in
the County, like showing off a fish, skiing in shorts, or hang
gliding... please use your judgement.
But please do NOT send us:
* Your family photo album.
* Anything north of Empire (like Glen Arbor).
* Anything east of Empire (like Burdickville or Maple City).
* Anything east of the Eastern county line (like Interlochen, Grawn,
Traverse City, Buckley, and Mesick).
* Anything south of Bear Lake or Pierport (like Onekama, Kaleva, or
Manistee).
