About 315swap
the project was originally created in july 2008 for spinners/yarnmakers to have a fun, low risk swap. (if you're on ravelry, you can see it here: here) it's also fun for textile people, embellishers, quilters who like a challenge and love receiving goodies in the mails. :) the basic idea is:
* 3 words
* one picture
* 5 ingredients to be incorporated into a yarn or project; could be some fibers, embellishment items, anything your freaky little heart can dream up :) (no minimums, but maybe at least 2 oz of various fibers and some good embellishment crack.) all items must be used in the yarn/project or give us some outrageous excuse as to why they weren’t. make it good!!
the yarns/projects will be kept by the person that spun/created them, but we’ll post pics here of what we received from partner, and how we were inspired to use them.
You can organize a swap here or do it on your own with some textile/art loving friends. It will be great to see the genres mixed up - embellishers swapping with spinners, quilters with embellishers, etc. Show us what you come up with!
