There are several Canon groups - and even a Canon group for the G series. But I wanted to be even more specific because I think the G2 is more or less the original G (forgetting for the moment the G1 which had lots of problems and of which Canon fixed nearly every one with the G2) and - at a mere 4-megapixel resolution - yields images with astounding color and quality.

The group is then one bit more specific because it is only for photos that were taken using the G2's raw mode and converted after the fact. A highly-debatable topic (raw vs. JPEG) - but with only 4-megapixels to work with, squeezing every ounce of quality from each pixel is - in my opinion - a necessity with this camera and it can create superb images with amazing color up to 11x14.

So bring on your best raw images you've taken on your G2 - invite your friends - and let's get a great group going that can really showcase the incredible range of the G2.

Please, members only post up to 3 images per day and do not post similar images of the same subject - let's keep the pool diverse. And tag your images with "Canon G2" and "raw" so that we can search with those.
