About 30 Days, One Object
Welcome!
This group was inspired by one of the best groups on Flickr, One Object 365 Days Project.
30 Days, One Object is for those who love objects but have commitment issues (one whole year with the same object freaks you out), those with decision making issues (so many objects, so little time), and those who would like to explore objects with expiration dates (produce, flowers, use your imagination).
Here are the rules:
1. Take one photograph of the same object every day. The object can be anything (family-friendly please) such as a pet, a toy, a tree... just make sure it's the same object every day. No stand-ins or substitutes. Be as creative as you like with backgrounds, locations, etc. You can start your project on any day, it does not have to start at the beginning of the month.
2. Label and tag: Each photo should have a number and date (1/30 11-30-08) in the description or title. The date you specify should match the date in the photo's data (in other words, no cheating). Please tag your photo "30 Days, One Object ".
3. Post your picture to the group pool. If you have been taking pictures but are behind in uploading, go ahead and post them but no more than three at a time.
4. Be consistent. This is a group for commitment-phobes and the indecisive, but let's try to work on our issues! Life gets in the way, and this is understandable. If you miss a day or two, just pick up where you left off (thereby extending your project a couple of days) and just continue to 30.
5. Commenting on other photos in the group is not required, but would be nice. Be kind and spread good Karma.
6. Make a Mosaic! When you have completed the 30 days, head on over to Big Huge Labs Mosaic Maker and make a mosaic of your project. Post it to the completed objects thread in the discussions.
7. Have fun!
