The group is about building and on-line collection of the wonderful
legacy of the Ancient Egyptian culture as evidenced by collections around the world. We don't want to post images of actual structures in Egypt, or any depiction of the culture after Roman times. Dynastic,
and Roman Egypt only. That gives us well over 3000 years of a
great civilization to cover, in terms of art. All images should provide a caption with some useful information. At least four words that are
informative, and correct. Many of the images posted, at the onset will be in a new "compatible" image format. It is subtle 3D with simple glasses, or flat if viewed in the smaller picture sizes. You are, of course free to post clear pictures that are not in stereo. Don't join if you can't take a clear picture under museum display conditions.
Bad flash reflexions in display glass will be deleted by the Administrrator. The good news, is that this will be a very good
collection to experience...Maybe we will never have more than 10
active contributors, but it will be worth visiting.
