About 2 Sides of the Same Coin: 2 shots, 1 person

We are all complex, multi-layered individuals. There are divergent sides to our personalities: we each can be strong, weak, heroic, vulnerable, loving, antipathic, whimsical and sombre. The list goes on. This group focuses on representing the diversity within the individual.

In this group, the challenge is to select two (or three) portraits of the same person (a friend, lover, partner, relation or even a stranger) that reveal two or more different aspects to his or her personality. It could be as simple as a public vs. private face, or as complex as you'd like it to be (eg. use of colour/blackandwhite/lighting/saturation to enhance the mood/personality shown by the subject). Try to avoid simple contrasts such as professional vs casual dress, younger vs older photo, and aim for something that demonstrates the capacity for one person to show a gamut of 'faces'.

If you can, please include some descriptive text with your portraits that outlines the person represented (eg. their relationship to you) and your thoughts/feelings about him/her with respect to the photographs taken. It would also be good if you could tag submitted portraits with "2sides".

Portraits of other people are preferred (posed or unposed), though this group is also open to the inclusion of self-portraits and can include candid shots.

A maximum of eight (8) photos per member may be submitted to the group pool per day.
