To acheive a modern looking glistening effect on eyes and lips follow the following instructions.


1. Choose photo

2. Duplicate Layer

3. Lasso select the eyes and lips, hold down the shift key to select more than one object (lassoing does not need to be precise).

4. Go to "Select" from top menu, Choose "Inverse"

5. Go to "Edit" from top menu, Choose "Clear"

6. Go to "Select" from top menu, Choose "Deselect"

7. Go to layers pallet and hide background layer so that you only see the top layer.

8. Go to "Filter" from top menu, Choose "Other", then choose "high pass"

9. Adjust high pass radius with the sliding tool.

10. Go to the layers pallet and select "overlay" style for the top layer

11. On the layers pallet allow the background layer to be visable again.

12. Use your eraser tool to clean up areas that you do not wish to be effected.

13. Flatten and save.
