About 2020VISION - Cumbernauld

2020VISION is a media-based conservation initiative with the aim of communicating the link between healthy ecosystems and the well-being of people as well as wildlife. Twenty professional photographers have each been partnered with an amateur photographer and assigned an iwitness location from which to capture relevant images. Cumbernauld is one of these locations and has been allocated to Niall Benvie and myself.

This group is for residents of Cumbernauld to contribute images of wildlife and our links with the natural world. Despite being a town, Cumbernauld boasts many nature reserves and green spaces, not to mention all the gardens in which wildlife will reside. So get out exploring with your camera and use this space to share the resulting images!

N.B. please remain conscientious at all times of the wildlife you are photographing. Prioritise the welfare of living subjects above any consideration toward the photograph you are trying to capture and work with the concept of leaving the area as you found it.
