About Project 366 - 2012_366
This group is... well pretty much the title says it all. You want to join this group, go ahead! No rules... other than, take a picture everyday starting now or around the beginning of 2012 for 366 days and post them on here everyday. They can be about whatever you want, or just yourself. You don't have to be good at it, and you don't have to have a fancy camera either. If you need encouragement (like me), help, advice with your pictures, or camera, OR if you like helping others and have knowledge to share... all of you are welcome!
As a unique little thing, I am going to be labeling my pix: Stardate 2011 or 2012 for the year and .001 thru .366 as the days pass, e.g. 2011.010 - would be the 10th photo of the project if you start in 2011. You can switch to 2012.182 when the new year starts. I am a Star Trek* fan so I thought this would be a neat and different way to label pix. You are more than welcome to do the same or do as you see fit ;)
A little bit about me:
I have started on 365 projects several different times and I never follow through. I get discourage, life happens, or I end up procrastinating. I figured I would join a group to get encourage and stuff, but most groups have tons of rules, invite only, or a lot of them are professionals or professional wannabes. I don't have a fancy, camera, I am not a professional, or wannabe or even an aspiring photographer. I just want to take more pictures, and share them with others. My cameras are a Canon Power Shot SX120 IS and I also love taking picture with my HTC EVO phone.
*Star Trek fans, I know that is not how stardates are formatted or calculated, but I making up my own =p
P.S. Please let me know if you are going to be posting explicit photos so I can change the group safety level to 18+. It is currently set for Everyone. Explicit photos include: nudity, explicit language, photos that just look a little too risque, etc. I know some people want to be artful and that fine, but try to keep your photos tasteful. Also remember, photos have to be your own. Don't go posting pictures that are copyright. Ok bye =D
