Update 1/17/12:
I've opened the group up again for submissions. Sorry if anyone tried submitting the last few months.
Update 10/31/11:
I'm shutting down submissions in preparation for this year's race. I'll open it back up in a few weeks once the rush from this year's race has died down.
Update Nov 17th:
I've raised the daily limit to 20 *BUT*, I'm going to start moderating the submissions, to give as many people as possible a achance to show up in the pool. This means that even if you submit 20 photos, you will mostly likely not see all 20 show up in the pool all at once.

I've limited the submissions to 5 a day, just so that we don't have a situation with someone flooding the pool with dozens of their images. Hopefully, those of you with plenty of shots will return over several days to submit all of your great photos.
BTW, even though I am the admin, the daily limit applies to me as well.
Hope you all enjoyed the marathon and all of the happenings and festivities surrounding it yesterday. Another wonderful NYC event in the books!
November 7, 2010 will be the 41st running of the New York City Marathon. Please add your photos from everywhere along the route, before, during and after the race.
As of now, I'm planning on shooting from somewhere in Brooklyn due to a prior engagement. Not sure exactly where. I'll probably scout some possible locations in the next couple of weeks.
I'll open the group up for submissions a few days before the actual race since there are NYCM-related events going on prior to the actual date.
