Started in 2009, a grassroots group of neighbors has put together this race to showcase the community. Help us make this run a success by signing up to run and telling your friends. Even if you're running Seattle's Patty's Day Dash, you can still do this one and end up in Mick Kelly's Beer Garden with your friends or the root beer garden with the family. A shorter family race is a great alternative for those who don't want the challenge of the steep Snake Hill!
Other fun community activities now leading up to this run are a school registration contest--top schools with most registrations awarded with prize, school limerick contest, and pub crawl. Besides money going to some of the local schools, the local Burien food bank also benefits.
