About 2008 National Park(ing) Day

National Park(ing) Day is an annual event to celebrate parks by creating temporary parks in public parking spaces. Visit www.tpl.org/parkingday for details.

2008 National Park(ing) Day is Friday, September 19.

Conceived by REBAR, a San Francisco-based art collective, on National Park(ing) Day public parking spaces were transformed into parks - at least until the meters ran out.
