About 2006 OHNY Focus Competition

Focus on OHNY sites during the 4th Annual openhousenewyork Weekend, October 7 & 8 and send in your favorite photos!

All ages are invited to snap away with winning entries showcased on the OHNY website. All OHNY Weekend visitors are encouraged to closely examine their environment during the OHNY weekend event and provide their own personal interpretation. Some sites have restrictions on interior photography, so please ask first.

categories for submission are open to all ages and include:

* building interiors
* exteriors
* details
* people
* kids category (see 2006 OHNY Focus kids! Competition)

judges for Focus on Architecture entries are:

* Stanley Greenberg, Photographer, Invisible New York, Waterworks
* Bob Shamis, Independent Curator and Consultant
* Margaret Morton, Photographer, Glass House, and Professor, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art

rules:

* All entrants agree that their name and images can be displayed and used in OHNY promotion without charge.
* Download full competition rules from www.ohny.org/programs/focus.cfm
* Parents or legal guardians are required to fill out and sign a waiver form for entrants under the age of 18 in order to be eligible. Download waiver form. Once the waiver is received, OHNY will contact the signer with further submission information.
