Basically what I'd like is for everybody to take four photographs on the 11th of November at 7am, 11am, 5pm and 9pm (local time) - they can be of anything - but preferably something spontaneous.

Traditional war memorials remember people who died fighting to protect their way of life, but they're are lifeless in themselves.

My the idea is put together a memorial that contains snapshots of everyday life - to show that their sacrifices weren't wasted.

So take a photo of whatever you're doing at 7pm,5pm and 9pm - maybe you're getting the kids ready for school, perhaps you spot the sun setting behind some office blocks, maybe your out partying - whatever you're doing take a photo of it.

At 11am - a time where many countries have a minutes silence - I want picutres that reflect that - the other three images are likely to show the hectic pace of modern life - the 11am picture should be quite, peaceful and reflective.

I'd like to be able to pull out photos that show that even in our fully connected 24/7 World, that people still set-aside one minute a year to remember those who've made it possible.

I don't know if that makes any sense - it's perfectly clear in *my* head - email me web.bod@gmail.com if you want to talk to me about it.

All you then have to do is upload/blog 'em and tag them as 051111-07, 051111-11, 051111-17 and 051111-21 - that's all (include the location in the caption) - if you can't tag them then name the files 051111-07.jpg, etc.

Feel free to add your tagged your photos to this groups pool.

It would be kind of nice if you could encourage your friends, family even complete strangers to do the same - kind of a viral thing - just spread the word - just cut and paste this message into an email and send it to the - or better still blog it !
