The Bottle Rockets are an American rock and roll band -- extremely American. They sing, in a simple and honest way, about everyday problems encountered by ordinary Americans. Their songs have elements of humor mixed in with the pathos (or, suffering).
The musical focus is on guitars - loud, fuzzy, glorious guitars. If you want an excellent example of American music, you should check them out.
