For Valentine's Day 2012, Dupont Circle neighborhood in Washington, D.C. woke up to a valentine from The Phillips Collection art museum and local knitters and crocheters. Hand-knit hearts adorn trees and buildings, creating a pathway between The Phillips Collection and Looped Yarn Works to celebrate the opening of a contemporary art project, made with yarn, on February 16, 2012, at The Phillips Collection.
