About 18th Century Living History Events

Fairs, musters, battles, encampments and general 18th century events, post your photos here.

For all those images you've taken at 18th Century events. In the colonies New Boston, Rock Castle, Fort de Chartres, Fort Kaskaskia, Fort L'Ascension/Massac, Mansker's Station, Fort Frederick, Martin's Station, Muster on the Watauga, Fort Massac, Fort Ticonderoga, Fort Boonesborough, Old Bedford Village, Mount Vernon and smaller events. For those of you in Europe, you know better than I so fill me in when you have the time.

We will have some rules of course. Events must be set in the 18th Century, preferably juried events. Photos must be of reenactors, dressed during the event. Photos with reenactors using obvious modern items will not be accepted. An example being the use of cellphones.

Visitors, modern dress, captured in the shot is acceptable, tho the primary subject of the photos must be the reenactors at the event.

Studio shots of reenactors in proper clothing may be accepted. This will be determined on a case by case basis.

Blatant advertising for events and is expected.... Get the word out for your event, the requirements for the event here and contact information. Use the discussion boards to your advantage.

Have fun, meet people, greet old friends, enjoy.....
