About The Wild Swim
A group for people who love to swim in lakes, rivers and the sea and ocean.
If you can drive right up to it - IT'S NOT WILD.
If there is someone waiting to sell you an ice cream when you're done - IT'S NOT WILD.
If it's just you and a whole beach of other people - IT'S NOT WILD.
Put some effort in, go places where you can swim beneath trees and the sky, where kingfishers skim the water's surface looking for the fish that tickle your toes, where grass sways in the breeze and sunshine dapples the rocks, where the change of hours and seasons matters.
If you want to allow others to share your swimming place then place it on the Flickr map. If you want to keep it just to yourself then OK to that.
Please choose the photos you add with care, don't just dump and run and remember we all like to get comments on our photos.
Skinny dipping is fine but anything that appears pornographic or overtly sexual and it's an automatic ban.
