About FindaBeach - Ahipara Beach
Welcome to the FindaBeach flickr group setup by Surf Lifesaving New Zealand
At Surf Life Saving New Zealand our mission is to prevent drowning and injury on New Zealand beaches.
To achieve this mission SLSNZ is developing the www.findabeach.co.nz website to share beach and safety information with NZ beach users.
It is envisaged that this website will become the premier website for beach information in New Zealand targeting two major user groups:
1.Local beach users who want up to date weather and tidal conditions about their beach
2.Holiday goers who are trying to determine which beach to go to for their next holiday
The goal is to provide these users with a range of useful information including: weather, tidal, fishing and surfing conditions, accommodation, activities, facilities and features to attract them to the website. Once at the website SLSNZ can promote beach safety and how to stay out of trouble in the water.
To assist us with this it would be great if you could share some of your photo’s with this group which will then be pulled through to the www.findabeach.co.nz website.
